Cheavon Clarke is a decorated amateur cruiserweight boxer who competed at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games before turning pro at the start of 2022.
Originally from Montego Bay, Jamaica, Clarke competed for the country of his birth at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. Following his successful amateur career, Clarke turned his attention to the professional ranks and in January 2022 signed a long-term promotional deal with Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing. He made his debut soon after, chalking up his first win with a clinical display against Croat, Toni Visic.
Clarke has wide interests outside the ring including how his diet and everyday living can not only improve him as a boxer but as a global citizen. Clarke’s plant based diet has had a hugely positive impact on his training and wider outlook on life.
